Coming Saturday, 4^th November is the full moon day of “Tazaungmone” by Myanmar lunar calendar and “Tazaungdine” light festival will be held throughout the country. On this particular day, Buddhists monks are provided robe and various requisites at “Kathein Thingan” Ceremony of offering robes. Numbers of candles to be ceremoniously lit and home will be illuminated at that night. Visitors would be served with mixed salad of Maezali buds which is believed to possess powerful, magical and medicinal properties if eaten at this time.
